Representation of doctoral students:

The Doctoral Student Association of the Széchenyi István University currently consists of eight representatives, who represent the interests of doctoral students at the university (in the Doctoral School Councils, the Faculty Councils, the University Senate, the University Doctoral Council) and in national organisations (National Association of Doctoral Students).

The election of the representatives takes place online in April each year, with all PhD students having the right to vote. At the time of the elections, the administrator of your Doctoral School will contact you in order to inform you how you can participate in the elections. We kindly ask you to support the work of the Doctoral Student Association by casting your vote.

In addition, it is important to note that there is a regional legal assistance service for doctoral students, to which you can address any legal question related to your doctoral studies, for example legal questions and problems relating to the application for doctoral training, the rules governing the status and the rights of doctoral students, questions relating to the financing of studies and the rules governing the administration of doctoral studies.
